Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This policy applies to pages and download links provided by Clash Chinese Community on clash49.com. It explains how information is handled when you visit the site. We provide client information, configuration guides, and reference materials. Data handling by clients and subscription services is covered separately by their respective providers.

1. What Data We Collect

This is a static-content website. It does not offer account registration or ask for or retain email addresses. You can read guides, view configuration examples, and choose download links without submitting your name, phone number, or subscription credentials.

When pages and files are requested, servers or network infrastructure may generate technical logs containing IP addresses, access times, request paths, response status codes, and browser information. These logs help deliver content, troubleshoot access errors, detect abusive requests, and keep the service available. They do not mean that this site creates identity-linked visitor profiles.

Pages on this site do not actively read client configuration files, proxy traffic, or subscription data on your device. Subscription URLs and passwords shown in tutorials are examples to explain configuration fields, not collection forms. Do not include real subscription links, passwords, or complete configurations in public feedback.

2. Traffic Analytics and How We Use Them

We use traffic analytics to understand page visits, referral sources, device and browser trends, and how visitors use platform options on download pages. This helps us identify guides that need more detail, download links that may be difficult to use, and page issues that need investigation. Analytics are not used to assess visitors’ proxy activity.

Analytics requests may include page URLs, referring pages, interaction events, and technical environment details. Do not add personal information or subscription credentials to query parameters in URLs on this site. Whether a referring page shares URL information with us also depends on the browser and the referring site’s policies.

Analytics data and operational logs should be used only for content maintenance, security investigations, and necessary site operations. We do not guarantee that all infrastructure retains data for the same period. Processing may change with deployment settings; material changes will be described on this page.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Traffic analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits or identify repeat visits. Page features may also use browser local storage to remember interface settings, such as the selected tab. These records are not used to store subscription links, node passwords, or client configurations. Some interface states are encoded in page fragments and may be included when you share a link.

Use your browser’s site settings to view, delete, or restrict cookies and site data for clash49.com, or enable the browser’s tracking protection. Deleting this data may reset saved interface preferences. Blocking analytics requests usually will not affect access to static page content, but it does not prevent servers from logging network requests.

4. Downloads and Third-Party Links

Some links on this site lead to app stores, client websites, or other external services. When you follow these links, the third party may receive your IP address, browser information, and necessary referral details, and handle them under its own policies. This policy does not replace third-party terms.

When you download a file, the server or distribution infrastructure hosting it receives the request information needed to complete the transfer. Before installing, check the client name, supported operating system, and download source, and review any publisher and permissions notices shown by your system. Network permissions, diagnostic records, and subscription requests after installation are not part of this site’s handling of data from browsing its pages.

Before entering a subscription link in a client, review the subscription provider’s privacy policy. This site provides configuration guidance but does not gain access to your subscription.

5. Policy Updates and Feedback

We may revise this policy when page features, analytics settings, or service deployments change, and update the month shown at the top of the page. Any new purpose for processing information or expansion of the data collected will be clearly explained here. Please refer to the current version.

For help with downloads and configuration, see the Help Center or the Getting Started Guide. When describing an issue, include only the client name, operating system, and error message needed to explain it; remove personal information and access credentials first. For data requests concerning third-party services, contact those services through their published channels.
